I think the chinese one came from the US Army Ike jacket with the open collar while the Thedi one is inspired by the Greek Army jacket.

Is it? Nice shearling can be pretty expensive.

I'm not a fan that mc jacket btw. Sleeves look like stove pipes and those zippers look odd without the double welt.

Yeah, good shearling is a much more luxurious leather than regular horse/cowhide. I've read that you can easily mess up the tanning mixture which can cause the hair to fall out - Something that often happens with time on badly tanned sheepskin. Quality shearling is the best you can get out of leather IMO so it also makes sense to me it's pricier.
