Photos of cool jackets owned by others (non-brand specific)

So I got to thinkin . . . I often come across photos of cool jackets owned by others, and I struggle to find an appropriate thread to post the photos. Sometimes there is a brand specific thread, but other times there is not. Sometimes I am forced to start a thread for a particular jacket, solely to share the photo, even though the photo probably does not warrant a thread of its own. So, I figured its time that we have a depository for all the random photos we come across depicting cool jackets that we would like to share with our TFL brothers and sisters, so that we don't have countless individual threads for individual jacket photos. In other words, we should have a jacket porn thread (I elected to exercise a modicum of decorum and leave "porn" off the thread title).

Here are a few random photos I came across today:

View attachment 69788 This is currently up at the top of my list of "I want but will never be able to afford" category. Photo taken from the Freewheeler's thread.

That thing is awesome!
Like you it currently sits at the top of my most wanted list, but the price is just insane!
Since i can't fit a standard size, a custom one would cost £2600 before shipping and customs, so around £3300 all in...
I am all for paying ridiculous amounts for leather jackets, but that is just too much, whichever way i look at it.

Clearly a stunning jacket, but does this strike anyone else as being a few inches too long? Hard to tell where the belt line of his pants rests, but I feel it would look significantly better a few inches shorter. Maybe I'm in the minority.

The Buco J-100 which this is a repo of was always intended to be a longer jacket. The advertisement here says it can be worn tucked into your pants. Also check the illustration, the sleeves length is virtually the same as the body length....definitely a longer jacket by design.

Ton's reference to the Langlitz Japan site reminded me that I had fallen in love with this jacket the first time I saw it there. I incorporated some of these original Columbia features into my new Langlitz, which according to UPS will be arriving tomorrow!!!!!
