Belted? For some reason I thought it had velcro side-adjusters. Must have mixed it up with another model.

It does have the velcro side adjusters which is why i said "a bit more classic". I should have added that in the previous post. But it can be worn with the belt which does add a bit of the traditional CHP look. I get that it isn't 100 percent what you are looking for but it is a bit closer than Vanson's power ranger stuff. On a bike, this thing really works well. And I must admit that the Velcro is very functional and is obviously easy to adjust.

How do you find the perforations? The idea intrigues me, but I'm not sure that the U is quite the climate which needs it...

I have owned a few perforated jackets and this jacket is without question the best of the bunch. The perforations help me stay cooler when riding in the south Florida heat and humidity. As long as I am moving I feel the air flow over my skin, especially the arms and outside portions of upper body. The cross-zip design does block some direct wind contact in the central portion of the upper body. This is why I am always on the lookout for a used Vanson Breeze jacket, the air flow and direct contact points should be even better. To clarify, air does flow throughout the Force but it is at the outer portions of the torso and arms where the wind and cooler air directly hit the body. Though once you get stuck at a light or in traffic, it feels like any other jacket. I sweat like some sort of farm animal.

Ha! Yes, I imagine it makes a huge difference in Florida. I suspect your "Winter" would kill me! ;)

Certainly would. Feels like 99 today and very humid. Rode bike home during lunch and got in the cage for the rest of the day. Too much sometimes.

Were these ever posted? I don't care. Fine Creek and High Large make art. It's easy to be edgy with edgy design like the J-24 or whatever but making the most standard cross zip look as exciting as it must've been when it first appeared... That is raw talent.

That is gorgeous. Why specifically do you say they make art?

This thread is like pornography for leather jacket aficionados (= addicts) and it's shameful, just shameful. You guys all ought to be ashamed of yourselves posting these pics. You're the Hugh Hefners of the cool jacket world. It's not my fault I keep coming back to look at this thread. You're making me do it! Making me do it!!!!
