Philadelphia Area Hair Stylist?

Hello girlies... new here and I was hoping someone could direct me to a good hair stylist in my area? I live in NJ about 20 minutes from Philadelphia. I've been trimming my hair myself for the past 3 years, since I decided to grow it out, but now it's too the small of my back and getting unmanageable. I'd like to have it done professionally. I have about 5 hair salons on my street, but am nervous about going to just anyone. Any suggestions?

I am a big fan of the schools (I go to Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica- cuts are $19 color is $23!) because you can get really good services for super super cheap. The students and teachers are usually very fashion forward (well, at least at the GOOD schools ) Jean Madeline is the best school in Philly, if not the tri-state area. I knew a bunch of people who trained there. If memory serves they are a few blocks off of South Street, near 3rd. Check out the website- cuts are $12!! I am from that area & have never been there, but it has a very good reputation. Good luck!!
