I've wanted to get to the store for about a year now (I have a son at TCU--so I'm there a lot). But, my schedule doesn't seem to work out. If anyone sees a face and hand prints on the windows, that was probably me! Anyway--a Milan is on my list.

Another Lounger just fell into the pot (so to speak) and tried to order a hemp

It seems like their mail-address (petersj2@mindspring.com) doesn't work, so I'll have to wait and call them tonight (afternoon in Texas). Anyway it's going to be another hand creased diamond - just a little lower (4-1/2 - 4-3/4") and with a rake. Natural color with a 2-1/2 - 2-5/8" brim and a wide reddish brown ribbon. Really hope, it works out tonight

So true! I never got his name, but he was super kind, and the specs-part sped along like a child's hand through warm butter.

Now, the hardest part ... waiting!

WooHoo! I just got off the phone with PB (not sure to whom I was speaking) and ordered my new Milan hemp Stratoliner. I got the Indy brown with the last of their dark green ribbon. He said they had enough as long as I didn't want a bound brim, which of course got me thinking, "Bound brim? Indy brown with a black ribbon and brim edging? Dark red?" Now this is going to torment me.

These things are extremely comfortable. I wore the black hemp today and was halfway through a lecture before I realized I still had it on. The sweatband feels a lot like the ones on my Akubra Heritage hats.
