Trousers that feel like pajamas / pajamas that look like trousers.

Must have been popular- they were on the market in the '40s, '50s and '60s at the very least.

Wow! I never would have guessed that they had their own version of PJ jeans during those decades. It proves that the people in today's fashion industry really don't have any new ideas. :p

I'm not crazy about PJ jeans (I personally would not wear them), but I'm not particularly very bothered by them either. What bothers me more is seeing people wear regular PJ pants (with prints and all) as regular pants.

"When jeans are not casual enough, but pajamas are too casual, wear pajama jeans! Only 19.99! But if you call within the next 10 minutes, we'll send you a second pair of pajama jeans- that's a 19.99 value- for free! Just pay shipping and handling!"

I got a kick out of them talking about the "revolutionary blend of denim and cotton!". Denim IS cotton, so really it's a revolutinonary blend of cotton....and cotton. So therefore....100% cotton...and not a blend at all.

Thanks for coming out, pajamajeans...thanks for coming out

In regards to OP's post, I'm not sure why they are even marketing them as "pajamajeans." I can't seem to find any retail women's jeans that are made from 100% cotton denim anymore. They all have some sort of spandex or lycra blend in them to give women the "comfort" of wearing jogging pants. The moment you wear them, they're ruined and no longer fit correctly. Washing breaks them down even further. It's frustrating.

There are two of this thread on my new posts page. It was most confusing when I pulled up what I thought was this one and found a comment I made on the other thread two years ago.

Eric: "How long have you been wearing them, Granddad?"
Ernie: "I said cut out the jokes, didn't I?."
Eric: "Oh, do me a favor! That's a joke in itself!"
Ernie: "I'm not wearing them as a joke."
Eric: "You look in the mirror then."
Ernie: "I have to look after my health. I have..."
Eric and Ernie (together): "a very delicate chest."
Ernie: "These are government surplus."
Eric: "You have room there for the whole of the Cabinet."
Ernie: "They are ex-naval officer's."
Eric: "I can see that. There's a porthole in the back."
