REALLY looking forward to this one. Tommy Lee Jones is an incredible actor and I look forward to this portrayal of MacArthur.

While I think Jones does a great job in roles like U.S. Marshall, I'm not sure his portrayal will be as accurate here. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to the movie but MacAuthur was a tall thin man and not a real action man. He was more cerebral. And from what I've seen in the coming attractions, there's an awful lot of rough stuff and fisticuffs. Don't know how accurate that is either but I'm looking forward to a good movie with maybe a bit of embellished history.

You should all read "American Caesar" by Manchester. Fascinating.... The "Moonie" produced Inchon is almost impossible to find. Netflix doesn't have it. You might be able to find a bootleg somewhere, but why would you go to all that trouble to lose brain cells?

My grandfather was 27 when he was drafted into the navy for the duration. He served on a carrier in the Pacific. He owned a business, had a wife and two kids.

The only things he had to say of MacArthur are not fit for print.

Well, I did it! I sat through all 14 ten minutes segments of 'Inchon' on YouTube just so I could see how "BAD" it really was. It was tolerable and an interesting exercise in film review. Now I can say I've seen it and why it has disappeared from the face of the earth. Glad it didn't cost me a penny! -dixon cannon

I watched 'Emperor' yesterday and thought that it was horrible. Both for military and historical accuracy. The first sign I look for in a military movie is the collar devices. The really bad movies always have the wrong collar devices. This movie is no exception, they are all wearing the oversized collar device that goes on a raincoat or jacket, not a collar.

This movie had so much potential but it quickly crashed and burned.
