I found this Borsalino at a Estate sale.Didn't care for the ribbon so I changed it.Reblocked it on a 52 block and flanged the brim.

I seriously can't believe I just bought this.....a NOS box of 24 hat crease clips. I didn't know stuff like this still existed. I have only seen these hat clips in Vintage American Hatter publications and several posted by Steve in the German/Austrian hat thread.

They are coming from Cyprus, so it might be a couple weeks before they clear customs. I am really excited to see these in person!

This is exactly what I've been searching for. Don't know what I would do with the other 23 if I buy a box. Are there others here on the lounge who would be interested if I have some for trading material? Or just as a friendly thanks for being a nice guy?

FINALLY A PLAYBOY TO CALL MY OWN!

This finally plugs one of a few serious omissions in my collection!!!


I am presuming it is a liner-less lightweight felt, what with the vents and all. The first one I recall with that feature. I'll have to stretch it up a size, no problem.

...now I am searching for a Flagship, A real Whippet (the one I have is 5o's, made by Stetson for Shudde Bros , tho'!)

"A wonderful Tom Mix Stetson with its original box. Label reads, "Made by John B. Stetson Company Especially for Tom Mix". Complete with original box shipped from Silverwood's directly to Mr. Tom Mix at Fox Studios. One of the best examples we have seen. Circa 1920s."

Antique mall finds.My 1st Penny's Marathon box with a Pilgrim hat inside.The hat is a size 7 so it goes up for sale.Also another Dobbs box.My dog Batman tried to photo bomb my pic.

We've never had any luck to find any nice vintage hat boxes any place other than eBay....
