The “No Name” bowler/derby arrived with some box mates. It fits great!

Looks like I sewed in that sweat.

Also received this hat just in time for Octoberfest. I look like I started celebrating this morning.

And this early batting helmet (well ... maybe dressage).

Excellent!! That’s quite a haul. Congratulations

Great find, Bob! Please add it to the No Name hat thread. That thread doesn't see much action. Thanks!

I'll do that next week for sure. The hats arrived just as I was leaving for the farm and I wasn't about to show up there and try to explain to my wife why I had a big box of hats after having just replaced the clutch ($$) in the zero-turn mower and facing some unknown upcoming plumbing costs (possible leak in in-slab inlet).

Referencing the Professor, it appears pre-war, likely 1930s. You'll know more when you see the re-order tag.

That’s what I thought too after looking at Brad’s guide. The liner looked like both the 1930s and the 1960 photos, but the style and the sweatband that was not sewn where it butts together had me hoping it was the 1930s. I was just afraid to get my hopes up. The store where it was sold was established in 1862 so any date is possible with that branding. Fingers crossed!
