In the original King Kong, 1933, Carl Denham, played by Robert Armstrong, wears a safari style hat on skull Island.
Anyone ever see it? What are your opinions on it? Does anyone know anything about it?

Terrific - except for the fingerprints in the ape's coat. Yet the special effects of Kong wreaking mayhem on 1932 New York stir me deeply to this very day, primitive tho they may be.

Denham's most unique article of apparel was his lapeled bush vest - really a jacket without sleeves.
