Original Good Wear Arcadia/Messenger

I followed up on post that took me to Good Wear's sale page. This is what I found; the Original Arcadia/Messenger. Since the Arcadia is my favorite GW jacket I just had to have it.

They are identical as far as I can tell.

The Original is probably a size 40, the New one is a size 42.

There's a reason why JC recommends Vasoline. They look like two different jackets in the videos.

I just did the same with my jacket that has a similar front and can't wait for the results.

Fantastic Terry, I really like the Good Ware one but the original is a show-stopper too. I really didnt' see a lot of your collection, but hoping to make an Illinois trip again pretty soon.

I just realised that I've missed two amazing vintage jackets on the Sale page of GW that would have been a perfect fit. I didn't really know about the sale page before so now taking a look at it I saw the jacket from this thread and another great vintage horsehide jacket in Size 40 both of them

I think that from now on I will have my eye on the sale page to not miss these opportunities. They are very fair priced! You really got a gem here TM. If you ever want to part with it I would be happy to have it, but I doubt it haha
