Coming soon, my online hat shop

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am in the process of opening an online Indy fedora shop. I am having my block replicated in sizes 6 7/8 to 7 5/8. I will offer a pure beaver Indy fedora in either medium weight, or lightweight felt, along with a pure rabbit felted Indy fedora. Colors available are chocolate, pecan, and charcoal gray. Brown sweats, white liner. These hats will be handmade by me. The price on the pure beaver is 200.00. The pure rabbit will sell for 100.00. I have sourced everything that I need to make these hats and since I will be buying wholesale, I can offer the fans very high quality hats at a very reasonable price. And as accurate as they come. Many will be in for a pleasant surprise when they see the crest on the liner and the emblem on the sweat. You will have to wait, but most will love it. I know I would. In fact, I think once you guys see the liners, you will be asking for one to replace yours. Same with the sweatband. I am hoping to have everything in place by early Fall. Until then, if you want a hat in my size(7 1/4), or 7 3/8, I can make you one with a plain sweat and plain liner for 175 for the beaver and 75 for the rabbit. regards, Fedora

A thought for those of us who frequent this board, as opposed to COW:

Steve's block is great, and it's not just for Indy fedoras. Matt Deckard can attest to this, as I wore a hat blocked with Steve's custom Raiders block to the Casablanca screening, and as I'm sure he'll attest, it looks like a "correct" 30s style block. I didn't put the severe Raiders pinch, because that's not really my cup of tea. The long and short of it is, you could get it open-crowned and bash it yourself. A 100% beaver hat for $175-$200 is nothing to sneeze at.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention it. If anyone's interested, I'll post some photos of my Cavanagh which I reblocked with the Steve's block.

Yup, that hat you showed me had a pretty hight crown, hard to find one like that today. I looked pretty much like a 30's hat. It looked old school.
