One more thing off my bucket list

This weekend my wife gave me an early Birthday present. I got to take an actual flight on a B-17. What a thrill...I grew up on 12 o'clock High, Command Decision and similar movies and was always fascinated by B-17s and B-24s, and in awe of the men that flew in them. Now I have even more respect and admiration for them.
And, looking through the interior I gained a lot more respect for the men and women that built them and the men that maintained them. What a magnificent piece of engineering.

Wow

I have a 24 year old I work with who has things off his bucket list and I haven't even started writing a bucket list and I'm twice as old.
