Hah! My invitation to the lingerie and caviar cocktail party must have got lost in the mail…cause I just can't pull the trigger on this one. It’s a little bit too precious, coming apart at the seams under one arm, and about as easy to toss on as a straight jacket. It's got swagger, it’s got cool, and I’m glad I tried it on and strutted about like Bono on a bender for a sec…but at this point I’m going to let this one go. I’ll probably end up regretting it, especially if the Village People ever call, but there’s always another pie-in-the-sky rarity waiting for me in some thrift store or flea market. Sounds like a good idea. But I've learned through experience that I'm not good with projects...they usually end up in a pile on the floor in the corner of a neglected closet...only to be revisited when my wife wants to make a point about my indulgent jacket purchases.

I have to agree with this sentiment. Most of us here are so predisposed to purchase leather jackets that when we find ourselves able to stop and think about it rationally, it probably wasn't meant to be...

That looks absolutely Bad Ass! Fits perfect. I would definitely get it if they dropped the price to like $320-350.
Id be wearing that for concerts and all sorts of shows, but I dress pretty loudly anyway.

I'd buy it, dye it and wear it every day and twice on Sunday. I just love these. I think they'd look cool under jackets.

I wouldn't do such a cruel thing to a vintage leather jacket.
