If I'm ever forced to fight a Terminator, I want the Sarah Connor from the second "Terminator" movie or the one from the short-lived-but-good TV series on my side. Actually, I'll just cower behind her while she saves humanity.

The original Terminator film has some of the best dialog ever committed to celluloid, including that final sequence.

Boy: "Viene la tormenta!"

Sarah: "What did he say?"

Mexican gas station operator: "He said a storm is coming."

Sarah (looking reflectively off into the mountains ahead, and remembering what she has just been through): "I know. . . ."

"I'll be back"

Super Girlfriend (who is a much bigger fan of the Terminator movies than I agrees that Sarah Connor is the best choice to fight Armageddon with). If SC isn't available, SGF is my next choice - she'd put up a hell of a fight. Either way, I'm just huddle behind handing them ammunition and hoping not to get shot.

Based on the incredibly impressive impression Ester has made on FL, I would be happy for her and Super Girlfriend to lead us into battle against the Terminators. Better still, you and I can stay back at Headquarters (with a beer or two for energy) while they "engage" the enemy.

Sounds like a solid plan. I'm in, especially if SG leaves us a large supply of her home baked goods :D

That is a given.

"Uh, honey, don't forget to bake some cookies for 1mach1 and me before you and Ester go out and save humanity from the cyborgs. And, er, umm, don't want to be a pain, but oatmeal raison and chocolate chip would be nice and, if you don't mind, a third variety would be great, too. Thanks, love ya. Oh, I packed the extra ammo you asked for in your tote, it's hanging by the door."

Bad attitude flannel shirt kid with the surly haircut is not getting the message from the boss. "TUCK -- IT -- IN!'' The Army will soon straighten him out.

Love the little clip-on accessory fans on display. Suspect it's an end-of-the-season liquidation sale for those.

I dunno, this is the time of year I have to de-fog my windshield the most! I remember my school buses using something similar back in the 1980s and '90s, but with a cage around the blades instead of the flexible rubber blades like these.

At least if the Terminators win the war, we will die with full bellies, and maybe diabetes [emoji14]
