For me, it is the architect's wife's bare slender arms - casually crossed over and slightly bent - complimenting the car's elegantly curved lines that really makes it a cool shot, but agreed, the gloves are a nice touch.

Couldn't see her face in your first picture, but the arch of the back and pull of the shoulders felt MarIlyn to me.

Everybody who's ever been to Cambridge knows about this place -- there's been a Shell station on this spot since 1933, probably because it would be too expensive to change the sign.

Interesting photo. A '14 Packard Twin Six next to a '34 Packard 1108 seven passenger sedan. Note that the driver of the Twin Six is dressed in 1914 style. Probably a promotional photo.
