Nudelman Bros uniform help

Hello all, I have a bit of a puzzle here. A beautiful wool uniform jacket from the Portland Railway Light and Power company, made by Nudelman Bros.

Im trying to verify the age of the piece but cannot find any reference to early Nudelman labels, just a 50’s one and a 60s one. Mine is actually very close to the 60s one that’s on the web but with a few differences.
The Railway...company changed its name in the mid to late 20’s but I’m trying to verify that someone didn’t just sew railway buttons on a 60s jacket. Not sure why anyone would but out of curiosity more than anything.

the jacket is amazing, it has 4 patch pockets tipped in leather and a dark grey wool fabric with an all around badass browns beach sorta vibe. The collar is definitely curious, I can’t say I’ve seen that style collar on anything from the 60s so that may be a decisive clue. I will work on photos next. Thanks

Because of the poor quality of the label, the best I can give you is 1933 to 1948. But then it is different from the tags I have seen from those dates. It might be even earlier than 1933. The style of the tag was completely changed in 1949, so this tag is nowhere close to the 1949 tag.

Thanks for that. I would have to guess that it is in fact originally used for the railway light power and is in fact from the 1920s but it remains a mystery

I missed the part of your post where you said the name changed. I did a bit of rudimentary research and found out the name changed in 1924, so I would say that based on that and the union label (which is really old) the jacket is from no later than 1924. Mystery solved.
