My best friend in Southern NH, just across the border from Haverhill MA, reports she had nearly two feet of water in her basement yesterday -- the fire department had to come pump her out, and dug a bunch of drainage trenches around her property. But the rain's still falling and her cellar's still filling, and it looks like no respite till tomorrow, at the earliest.

Worst flooding there since 1936, and there's been a lot of property damage. Not a good situation at all...

The British chick on my NPR station keeps saying "This is English weatha".

I'm seeing partly cloudy tomorrow and then rain through till next Wednesday. That's what, 2 weeks straight?

I had no idea WA got hot? I was thinking rain and 75 max. Duh.
lol no, it isn't always raining! this is a bit unusual for this time of year around here...usually it doesn't get into the 90's until late June....the hottest I have seen it get here in the summer was 110degrees, was not fun at all. The good thing about this kind of weather is, boating season has started earlier, wooohoooo!!!

Gee, sorry to hear about all the rain MK. Better now then over the weekend!

And, is it just me, or do we seem to have alot more Bostonian/New Englanders on here now?

We really should plan some kind of thing or something.

lol hey, it's worth a try! actually, my flowers would probably like some rainfall but can't beat sitting out on the porch with a book, or in my case, my laptop, kids running through the sprinkler *crosses fingers* just one more day of this!

Hey, thats kinda funny. When I first posted that pic, the storm was still over the northern part of New York and now it has swerved north over New England!
The image must be updating automatically from TWC. Kinda cool!
