The tourist branches of Edinburgh Woollen Mill sell Harris Tweed caps for 15 quid. Click on the map in your area and you should get a list of the tourist stores. I've only been to the Windsor branch, and I bought a cap there, so if you find near you it's probably best to call them first to check they have them. There's another branch near me in Kingston-upon-Thames and they don't sell the caps.

I like the vintage, though if you want close enough go to Lock Hatters in London.

I bought a few local caps when I was in France and they have nice full crowns too. In the US it is much harder to find one that's not a "driving" cap that has an oval crown.

This one is going to New York with me

Check out the boots!

I'm with Matt on the vintage angle. I was just about to buy one from BWear (largely because of the results i'd seen posted here) a couple months ago when i found an old Pendleton one in a junk store: 11" diameter! is pretty sweet on my small heed ... BWear is a good road to go down, by all accounts. Hope it works out.

I'd like to go vintage but my part of England is a cultural desert for vintage clothing. In any event the newsboy never caught on here.
B!Wear looks a reasonable facsimile of a 1920' cap, so I'll go for it.

B!Wear is the place to get a cap. I have three wool ones, three linen caps, a denim cap, and would have a corduroy but my sweet little 86-year-old mother commandeered it.

Check out the gallery at the bottom of the page, you will see some familiar Lounge members' faces on that site.

I just gave Fu Manchu his linen cap and his herringbone cap and they are just swell! I really liked them! I may be in line for a herringbone cap later!
I have a linen cap for the summer. I highly recommend them- nice looking caps. I would recommend you get the leather strap though- the suede is nice but not my cup o tea. Maybe it's my hair texture, but the nap feels too sticky on my hair.
