Welcome 1930 Italian! I agree that the new Borsalinos are pricey for the quality. I respectfully disagree with my brother at the bar Tutt about the Akubras. I just don't particularly care for the felt although I do like their style. That leaves the Saxon which is a favorite of another brother at the bar, Memphislawyer. I have to say I agree with him on that one. Now take this recommendation that two lawyers are in agreement on this with the appropriate Gibraltar sized grain of salt it deserves.

Good question. StanMor begat Just Hats in same location who begat Famous in new location. They still had a few hats with Just Hats in the band. They left 12th st. the same way they left South, no notice just a truck in the night. I'll ask Oscar next week if he has a line.
