Leilah has been getting her hands on some fantastic hides. I wonder if these are still from the Sialkoti tannery.

Okay maybe you guys can help me out here a little bit and give your opinion.
The cordovan leather definitely pushes the jacket into luxurious / fancy category. As opposed to being black or brown. Natural/unfinished/undyed or even the tan steerhide that RW now has would have a similar effect.
RiRi zippers and the bling of gold/brass hardware also adds to the luxury vibe.
The back of the jacket is pure moto/casual style.
The front is mixed : lapel snaps, belt loops and zipper handwarmer pocket - moto. The lack of epaulets - a bit more towards minimalist moto or even aviator considering it's a cross-zip. D pocket I've also seen on both aviators and moto jackets.
What do you think :
Leave the belt loops and snaps and lean more towards moto or remove the belt loops (useless anyway) and snaps (or maybe hidden lower lapel snaps as a compromise) and lean more towards the minimalist moto / aviator vibe?
Thoughts?

Which jacket are you talking about? Rugged Rider? I would just leave it as it is.

I personally do not get a "luxury" vibe from this leather/hardware combo and like the details added by the snaps/belt loops etc. Would not try to make it more subtle.

I messaged Leilah a few days ago about a jacket update and haven’t heard anything. Has anyone had any luck? Not worried at all, just wanted to know if there were any production updates etc as I’m excited ha!

You were talking about modifying the design of the jacket? I didn't know you can do that. I thought we can only do custom measurements.

Well she might let you do some small adjustments like removing belt loops, but it might be best to not touch it like MrProper said.

She's quite hard to get hold of sometimes, but overall she answered me both yesterday and today.

A lot of my messages with Leilah has been mainly a one way communication, I sent messages and she just read without a reply, not totally feeling great about that even though I know she might have been busy.

My order measurements also base on size S with shortened sleeves and back length in opposite of yours, I am only 5ft7.

I had the same feeling and almost had to get a full custom as I had the opposite problem- 36 x small was too big for me. Luckily a size 34, XXs template was found so I went with that. Got in contact with Leilah last night and it seems like things are moving forward

Same, I’m 5’7” or 8” on a good day and the 38 small was actually way too long in the sleeves and length of jacket.
Did the 36 not fix those issues for you? You went with custom?

36 XS in theory will work on me at this moment, but I might be only able to wear a t-shirt or a light sweater underneath with a 36. I am only in my late 20s, I just want to size up in case I put on some weights a few years down the road as leather jackets are investments.
