New Cocktail...I need Help Naming It

FL Folks,

So today I was at a July 4th party where I was called upon to tend bar. While back there, I found that the folks that I was making cocktails for realy wanted different drinks. One of the drinks that I created tonight was a cocktail served up (in a martini glass) that was of a pommegranite juice color. The cocktail had the following:

- Gin
- Simple Syrup
- Grenadine
- Chambord
- Lime Juice
- Garnished with a lime.

The folks at the party seemed to think that I should name the cocktail "Beale Street" as it was created in a penthouse on Beale Street in SF. However, I find that it should be a really vintage type name. So, of course I come to places where all vintage thinking folks come...the illustrious Fedora Lounge.

So what do you Fedora Loungers think I should call it?

Pink Gimlet

Light Aviation

Pink Devil

California Sling

But why not make up something new? "Beale Street" sounds good. May I ask if you tried what you mixed?

Oh yes, I did try what I mixed. I even made one for myself. I made three of those drinks and they were FAABULOUS. I like the names you've chosen. I dunno, Beale Street kinda doesn't stick.

Of the four I proposed, I like Light Aviation the best. Firstly, an Aviation is made with lemon juice, gin, sugar and maraschino (cherry) liqueur, and the mixture of Chambord and grenadine is probably similar yet lighter in colour, and secondly, there is in fact a technical term "light aviation" for aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight of under 5.7 tonnes.

I don't think it'd be too long. If a cocktail can be called "South Of The Border" or "Leave It To Me", why not "Devil's In The Detail"?

Does anyone know a (more or less known) cocktail with a longer name than these? (Content qualifiers like in "Small Half Sweet And Half Dry Olive-Free Martini" don't count.)
