I always enjoy reading this thread, even when I don't know the lyrics (usually anything outside of 1928-1935 throws me). I was hoping someone would revive it when I logged in today; and lo and behold here you had posted the lyrics to one of my favorite songs... Perfect timing.

By the way, the Jack Hylton/Pat O'Malley recording is my very favorite too.
