I picked up this overcoat this past weekend for $10.00 at a goodwill. The wool is extremely soft - softest I have ever felt. The hounds tooth pattern is a dark brown and black, giving the coat a very dark appearance. I am adding some photos (sorry about the quality) to see if anyone knows anything about this thing: approximate age, anything about the company or the men's store.
Only thing I have to go on were two late 50's postage stamps in the one internal pocket - which really mean nothing as far as age.

Manufacture's label. Looks hand stitched in - as does the backing underneath the collar.
Crappy photo of the pattern. I am almost not even sure if it is really wool.
