I once worked with a guy named, truthfully, Jim Beam. That was his actual given name. No, alcohol never touched his lips.
Funny thing; just yesterday I was listening to Bill Handel on KFI and he did a story on names that have been refused for newborns and name changes. One guy was refused the option of changing his name to 1096 - yes, he wanted a number. [And the name Sex Fruit eek was refused for a newborn! And rightly so!!
