considering i'm within striking distance of a free, international flight ticket with my star alliance miles, edinburgh and galashiels is very, VERY tempting.
Yo Bro... Broham... Busom Buddy... Future friend for life.. errr. could you pick me up a little "sumthin sumthin" while you're there... bring it back witcha? So what it's three times your size... they'll never notice!!!!

perhaps, but the carry-on would be filled with "breakables" ... as in bottles of single-malts and blendeds!

Wrap the malts IN the jackets!!!! Problem solved.. till the Gorilla's at Customs say you cain't take said liquids on the plane (thanks again Osama)! Then the REAL Gorillas in baggage will provide you with beautifully smelling, slightly stained Horse and Cow upon landing....

That's a very sweet jacket major, it has that archetypal wartime fit and finish - even if such a thing never truly existed. It's very much "the old soldier" that has seen a lot of action over the skies of Europe. Maybe some would complain that it isn't rock-hard horse hide, but hey it's got the look.

MM, don't mean to be an arse (it just comes so naturally) but do you think you could at some point upload full body shots of you in these new jackets please? If you don't wanna show us your pretty face for fear of being identified - or for any other reason - then I'm sure a man of your intelligence can find a way to block that out. Or perhaps just don an SAS style balaclava for those? I find that seeing all of a person helps me better appreciate the fit of a jacket

Best I can do, Schitz.

Camera leant against a brick on a table, so not designed for full length viewing.

I suppose I could go round to the better half's place, and ask her to take some snaps, but she would rib me relentlessly if I did!

BTW - Levi's shirt. Freddies Jeans:D;)

Sadly, all the pre-production Marines had gone: those trade guys are like a plague of locust in heavily-cuffed jeans!

There are a couple of pics of Ken with a couple of traders from Holland - though it was a hectic, hectic day... Will get some pics up later.

Major, congratulations on your new A-2 as well as your Aeromarine. Sloan, we are all looking forward to pictures and your impressions of Aero's new styles. No rush to do this as long as you proceed in the next five minutes! :whip: :D

That'll do Major, thx. I can see it has that 'vintage' length and you wear it well. Those freddies don't look too shabby on you either.

I like this jacket but with my lanky frame I don't think I could pull it off i.e. by the time I'd added enough length for it to not look ridiculous it'd be something else

Great jackets Major! I bet that A2 will age beautifully, are those the 50's Freddies(how do they compare with other jeans you have)?
