My new/first Fedora

You've taken your first step and gotten a pretty good hat for starters.

Let's see how long it takes before you become a full on "fedora fiend" with sniping programs on ebay vying for vintage fedoras. Muwah ha ha!

For the specifics: crown height 3 3/4" in back and ~4 1/2 in front, brim width is 2 5/8", as for felt weight I don't know all I know is it's 100% fur felt.


EdinLA44: This hat is made by Scala, I think it's just called "The Fedora." They are hard to find info on.


This is my first but will definately not be my last Fedora. I just really liked the look of this one and heard good things, and for $25 CND (incl. shipping) I took the plunge. I am very pleased with it. But, I am keeping an eye open for some vintage hats that peak my interest. I don't know that it will becaome as big an obsession for me as some of you:fing28: but that's ok because I have the same sort of obsession with guitars. My last purchase was a 2005 Gretsch 6120SSU which is basically a replica of a '59 6120. Kind of an expensive obsession but it keeps me sane... :cheers1:
