My jacket season is already over in late March

What I said, this is becoming California. Anyway, you can have all the hot weather all the way back to you

Here is the same, we hit 100F a couple of weeks in summer and we have a couple of weeks in winter of so called "Siberian cold wave" but I haven't seen a snow flake on the coast for ages. The rest of the year is totally insubstantial and boring.

I'll take the warm weather. I hate it cold. If I had my druthers it would never get below 60 degrees. I would still wear a coat then though.

100 would be nice once in a while here too but we haven't had that in quite a while---not once last year. The good thing is that it hasn't snowed here since 1976. It stunk. I remember. :p

You would be happy here :) Last year I didn't grab a jacket until late October. Some days were colder than others but you could go with just a thick shirt or a pullover. That makes only 4 months of "jacket season" until late March this year.

I received my 1953 dated size 46 peacoat on the same day it became warmer. This makes me sad, as it needs to be worn.

I'm from San Antonio , Texas where I thought there was no other place as hot & humid…until I was shipped to Guam !
When the rains came, you could actually see it coming like a huge wall ( not a storm just daily down pour ). And I
had to have a constant light in my locker & most of the time I was in uniform so my civilian shoes would develop mildew
like powder if I didn't brush daily. There was no potato chips in bags…everything had to be in cans. It's a "cool" 80 degrees now,
I guess I could turn down the a/c & put on my A-2 !!!!!???

My vote is for less heat & more jacket weather. We seem to be be about six weeks ahead of schedule with the 70s and 80s we've had for the last couple of weeks. Although today it's 58 degrees fahrenheit and I got to pick out an A-2 to wear to work.:D Tomorrow it's going to be in the upper 70s again.:( My favorite temperature range is 40-65 fahrenheit. When I was stationed in England during my air force years I was quite happy with the mild temps.

The opposite happened to me, just as it warms up in London to a temperature which is too warm for wearing my Aero Highwayman with tweed lining my new jacket is delivered, an Aero A-2 which should be just right for the next few months.

Definitely A2 weather now, and for the next few weeks at least, I'd say.
