My First Homburg!

Hey folks!

I am the proud new owner of a 1940s vintage Stetson Homburg. I have been looking to get a homburg in this style for ages.

It came to me as a gift from a very generous Fedora Lounge fellow member who actually only charged me for shipping! What a nice thing to do.

A big thank you to SOLIDCITIZEN. Peter, you're a gentleman.

I've been looking for one in charcoal grey or midnight blue, but the light grey looks great with the pinstriped suit.

7 5/8 Regular oval.

I need to reshape it (ideally) to fit my long oval noggin a little better.

That's a great looking hat. I've been trying to find a fedora in that color for some time.

One piece of advice: take that pinch out of the crown (leave the dent), and wear your Homburg proudly!

There is nothing wrong with a pinch in a homburg!

In fact, most of the early homburgs you see did have a pinch.
