Terry, does your zipper go all the way up, or does it stop at the lapel flap?
As far as I could tell, the "snake" jacket was post war. The leather was too thick for a 30s jacket IMHO. The front drop was cool, and it balanced out the short back which was probably 23 1/2"

The squared pull with Talon down the middle of the slider. I would guess either a sunrise stop or Talon down the middle of the stop. Probably a sunrise. That really places it late 30s early 40s. I don't see this style post war.

I don't recall a jacket like this being offered for sale in the last few years. On ebay it would bring attention.
