He didn't have enough to go with blue metal for both the crown an brim, but had another darker ribbon that he made some suggestions for mixing it up with a combination of the two. In the end I asked him to make the hat using his best judgement, experience, and creative touch, in the exact proportions, as well as the ribbon. It is being finished up soon, and I am happily awaiting the outcome of Michaels talents. Thanks for the Inspiration! It isn't the first time I have copied your choices.Did you go with the blue metal ribbon? I went with blue metal for the binding and the crown.
In Art's town....Central Point OR, just down the street from his old shop the Rogue River Creamery. They have a separate cooler with just their blue cheese offerings...there is a sign above it......"My Blue Heaven". It was obligatory to stop at Art's shop, the Creamery for the blue cheese and next door to the winery and chocolatier. I called Central Point the worlds most perfect small town.
Yeah, there was a bit of back and forth about how much to pounce, and how wide a brim he should make due to my lack of expertise. So, I just told him to do what he does best and make me a nice hat.He didn't have enough to go with blue metal for both the crown an brim, but had another darker ribbon that he made some suggestions for mixing it up with a combination of the two.
