I recently got myself a tawny fed from hats direct. I love it . I got them to put vent holes in it for summer use, however the liner blocks the vent holes. Iasked hats direct should I remove the lining or cut holes in it . Ron Lilburn replied and said keep the lining as it prevents sweat marking, and make holes to match the vents. thought I would relay that as it seemed relevant to this thread

The idea seems to be good. But it has to be well done.
If the weather becomes to hot I will try.
The Akubra straw line is really nice.

I'm still waiting on mine. It's an indent and won't be ready until June, I believe. In the same order is an Akubra Casual in Regency Fawn and an Akubra Stylemaster in Moonstone Grey.

I don't know why, but people have been telling me I look thiner? It might be that my shirt is tucked in, but maybe it's the hat? Makes me taller, spreads out my fat a little?

I love the Fedora! It looks very Bogartine on both of you!
I had one in gray a few years ago, but my head outgrew it...Maybe a new brown one is in order??
