Jimi again
Did he play it with it strung for a rightie? I just assumed he had it strung for a leftie. If he did play a rightie that is amazing. I guess I never paid close enough attention to the fingering he was doing while playing. Now I am going to have to find a video.A lefty playing a righty with the strings upside down. Fascinating, for me at least, to work out in my head chord configurations. Always get a kick out of this.

Jimi restrung his guitars so that they were in the correct order while playing left handed. I did read something that when his father was around when he played, he played right handed. No, Scott. Thinking of another lefty. Just looked again and they're strung in order. Now to remember who I'm thinking of.

RIP indeed! The man had a profound effect on my life. I saw him last at the Bijou here in Knoxville in 2007 and he looked the same as he did when I first saw him in the late 70's. A timeless personification of a bygone era.Leon Redbone RIP
