A lefty playing a righty with the strings upside down. Fascinating, for me at least, to work out in my head chord configurations. Always get a kick out of this.
Did he play it with it strung for a rightie? I just assumed he had it strung for a leftie. If he did play a rightie that is amazing. I guess I never paid close enough attention to the fingering he was doing while playing. Now I am going to have to find a video. :)

No, Scott. Thinking of another lefty. Just looked again and they're strung in order. Now to remember who I'm thinking of.

Jimi restrung his guitars so that they were in the correct order while playing left handed. I did read something that when his father was around when he played, he played right handed.

I do believe Bob Geldof played his guitars left handed and upside down.

There are several left-handed players who play upside down, i.e. light strings on the top, heavy strings on the bottom. Albert King, Doyle Bramhall II, and Dave Wakeling (of the English Beat) come to mind...

^^^^^ Sad. Way too young.

“He departed our world with his guitar, his trusty companion Rover and a simple tip of his hat,” his family said in a statement. “He’s interested to see what Blind Blake, Emmett and Jelly Roll have been up to in his absence, and has plans for a rousing singalong number with Sári Barabás. An eternity of pouring through texts in the Library of Ashurbanipal will be a welcome repose, perhaps followed by a shot or two of whiskey with Lee Morse, and some long overdue discussions with his favorite Uncle, Suppiluliuma I of the Hittites. To his fans, friends and loving family who have already been missing him so in this realm he says, ‘Oh behave yourselves. Thank you… and good evening everybody.'”
