One of my favorite Cowboy singers, Dave Stamey usually sports a beautiful Western Fedora. This song reminds me of my Dad, who was a long time horse trainer.

Very interesting to have the same pipe!!. Yours is a very nice looking pipe. It's also something handcrafted, that I dabbled in a few years back, I did a few. I still have a interest, in doing some carvings, here and there in the future...who knows what the overall offerings can be down the road.

As we saw an Elvis Costello tribute band Saturday night, here are (another) couple of pictures of Mr. Costello under a couple his now commonplace fedoras.

The second photo, part of a series, is obviously a reprise of the This Year's Model album cover.

I do hear Steve Earle in both Reckless Kelly and Micky and the Motorcars. And Asleep at the Wheel.........love Ray Benson's baritone voice.
