Musician's hats

I felt like a little Bluegrass today. EOL doing a great job with some cool hats. I am drawn to the Fiddle player's hat...
Funny, I rather like the banjo player's hat (Johnny Warren and Charlie Cushman, respectively, if I'm not mistaken). :D Their hats appear to be the same make, model, and color, but the slight differences in crown and brim shape make all the difference.

JJW wears a great hat here. This is one of my favorite JJW songs. When I turned 18 the drinking age in Iowa was 18 and the drinking age in Nebraska where we lived was 19. So we would drive about 25 miles across the Missouri River to Onawa Iowa to drink in the bars. This was probably the song we played most on the jukebox when we went over there. Great times shooting Snooker and drinking Falstaff beer. The other most played song was probably Gotta Get Drunk by Willie Nelson. We were smart for teenagers.......we always made sure one person didn't drink so they could drive. We would draw cards for that. The low card had to drive. That would have been 1977. Seems like yesterday.

Too crowded for me!

Have you been Jack? Last night there was quite a crown and the dancing was great. The mix was 70% people who remember voting for Eisenhower, 20% college students, and 10% people in between like me. There were times when the dance floor got crowded, but the crowd was lively and friendly. We loved it.
