You're very welcome! I love the British and European dance bands of the '20s and '30s. I've particularly come to love the German and Swedish bands with Erhard Bauschke, Marek Weber, Otto Dobrindt, Helge Lindberg, Hanns Bingang and Paul Godwin being some of my favorites.

Thanks to everyone that's contributed to this thread. I love it! As a result of this thread I have been able to delve deeper into the music of said era. In particular I have had a chance to listen to King Oliver and Jean Goldkette, two greats that I was previously not familiar with other than by name.

Dan'l, I didn't even know King Olivers Name since I got myself a Louis Armstrong retrospective. There I found some pieces from King Olivers Creole Jazz Band, where Armstrong participated - and I was lost. In my opinion the King is one of the greatest musicians the world has ever seen. And now, just for our Entertainment, let's listen to the King again:
