Movies I revisit when I need to recharge.

When I want something sweet, with a nice little cleansing cry, I turn--over and over again--to Truly, Madly, Deeply. I have never met anyone who likes this movie, too. Of course, I've met very few people who have ever heard of it! At least on this side of the pond... Alan Rickman and Juliet Stevenson. What's not to love??

Truly, madly, deeply is a belter, i have one girlfriend i always used to get together to watch that with, with mucho tissues to hand! Actually i think four weddings is a great choice too Puzzicato, it's genius, the best film Hugh Grant made i think, although i still blub like a baby at the funeral scene when he reads the poem, but that's cathartic i guess, no harm in a good weep!

Zulu became one of my all-time favorites when I saw it in the theater back in the 60s. The British, or I guess more accurately the Welsh, garrison held out, but it seems to me the Zulus had the upper hand, and the soldiers survived because the Zulus let them. Rollicking action, and Baker and Caine out-cooling each other...
