That pinstripe suit reminds me of one I still have but the space between stripes is about half that, as I recall. Mine is from the 1980's I think. I'll have to dig that out.

@EstherWeis can you please direct me to where I could buy the capeline in Europe (website links would be great)? Also can you elaborate about the wire, what type you need, etc. Sounds like the wire goes around the brim edge in a under welt edge?

Looks like Marlon Brando's hat was more than a movie prop or for studio pictures. It looks like it was worn regularly by the visible spots, unless it was distressed intentionally like now-a-days. Unusual crease for a fedora or maybe it's just the angle.
