more female stars in fedoras?

Has anyone noticed the appearance of fedoras on female stars increasing? I turned on my computer and as the internet providers homepage comes up there are three of them on the homepage. I will skip the train wreck called Britney Spears:eusa_doh: . But there was a picture of Fergies new video and shes wearing a fed, its cocked back quite a bit. Then there was also Kiera Knightly promoting chanel wearing a Homburg (if homburgs are the open crown type top). So now my 10 year old wants a real fedora. Shes looking at a Champ I believe. My wife is also watching some on OFAS as its apparently called !

One of my friends landed a role as a narrator for a local noir play, and a fedora was part of her costume. Once she put the hat on, she never took it off.
