I would love to dress vintage all or most of the time, but I have a very hard time finding things that will fit me. I'm curvy and don't have a 20 inch waist.

Honey, that's me to a T or at least a curvy T.

Over the past couple of years there have been some cute dresses coming out of Macy's and other places.

But I just can't stand that boho wooden bead stuff that's going on. It does nothing for my curves. Bah!

Try the Women's section of Macy's. You know, through the dungeon and over the mountain inside the cave of doom. Ask the 1 legged cow, and then you are there.

Its pretty hidden, but all the same clothing lines are there AND some real vintage (IE super conservative) stuff there. Ive made some real finds.
We should totally go shopping sometime :D

Ugh! Is it like that on the west coast too?! The "Women's" section here in Macy's is LITERALLY, through some dark hall way and next to the rest room. I DON'T shop there for that very reason. That whole "keep the big girls in back" thing is horrible. Nuts to Macy's.

I totally agree! The only place Ive been where they shared a floor with missies was Nordstrom's. I was shocked! All out in the open and warm and inviting. Made me want to shop there, go figure.

Some days ago I was in H & M again and all thrilled cause they had so much 40s inspired stuff. I took arms full of clothes to the dressing rooms, but ended up buying nothing. They had a rather modern low cut and hanging too loose fit and some of the tops had bad quality (I found a very cute sweater, but the material turned out wayyyyyy too thinn)... Anyway I keep on looking for cute and cheap stuff as long as it is available ;)
