All you guys, just come to suburban UK, and try to buy stuff from MF. I don't wanna have to log on to ****ing Denimbro to look at pics of guys posing, just so I can find out what's available.I just wanna buy the frigging stuff. Allow me to shed some light on issues discussed above, based on facts.
I can assure you that Mister Freedom® has no strategy other than designing non-disposable descent clothes, along with manufacturing them in an ethical manner. This should apply to other small brands in the same niche as well.
The conscious choice of a small business to make it willingly difficult for its small production to be purchased would display an obvious lack of intelligence from management. Limited production and distribution are not about creating 'hype', no time nor budget for that here. MF® doesn't hide behind a 'lifestyle', we just offer clothes that are costly and challenging to manufacture. Our garments are not mainstream and cannot be mass produced, therefore not found on every street corner.
Our limited hard working staff does its best to patiently respond to every email enquiry, ranging from "What should I buy?" to the more obscure "Hi, my name is Bob, 5'8, what size am I in the Road Champs?"
In the past two years, each item has had a dedicated post with a lengthy write up that answers most questions for those willing to read it fully. We have mainly been a local brick and mortar type store/show room based in Los Angeles, CA, not a webshop, we are growing organically, to the best of our abilities.
However, a new website (with a functioning eShop) has been in the making for some time and will hopefully satisfy the frustrated many, and I am one of them (our poorly designed website doesn't work with iPad/iPhone, to my dismay.)

Yes, please make your future site iPad compatible!Being in LA. I'd love to come by - assuming you make things in larger sizes. Many of these great, small Japanese firms only do smaller patterns, which might be good for my wallet, but not my style lolThanks for posting. Interesting to read.

Mister Freedom make brilliant stuff, but unless you live near a store, getting the stuff is not easy. In the UK, it is nigh on impossible.

It seems remarkable that a US company can actually come up with a website almost as inpenetrable as the Japanese ones they are competing with.

But then, using Wordpress to run a commerce site is just wierd.

And yes, I do know that they ship internationally, but I should not have to email, just to find out stock levels. If it was a one-man show, I could understand that. But aren't they supposed to be a proper business??

Some pretty cool stuff on the MF website.
It reminds me how back in the 70s I knew a West Indian guy who had an overcoat made
from recycled jeans. I bought it from him for five quid...later I realised that it looked really cool on him
but terrible on me..I later gave it away to an old girlfriend.
