I like the look of the grey US Navy turtle neck sweater. It’s similar to the familiar Sub sweaters but a nice variation on the colour.

There are also the US Engineer type sweaters, I notice; I have one of these and enjoy wearing it.

That's good. How have you found the sizing, compared to the chap in the photo? I find that my ecru version of that sweater is just a little bit longer than that.

I like this a lot. As well as the general nautical atmosphere, I love the beards! I don't want to grow one like that myself, at this stage, because my hair is still auburn and so there would be quite a lot of 'orange' in the beard. When my hair turns silver I might try, however.

I received an e-mail earlier today from Outdoor knitwear extolling the virtues of their Woolly Pulleys.

As it is cooler now and I was doing some gardening this morning, I was wearing an old British Army WP, I am now wearing a German Army Jersey.

I received an e-mail earlier today from Outdoor knitwear extolling the virtues of their Woolly Pulleys.

As it is cooler now and I was doing some gardening this morning, I was wearing an old British Army WP, I am now wearing a German Army Jersey.

I wore a Dark Grey Mix WP early today - a sign that autumn is coming (thank goodness!).

I also received the email from OKW. Will they have another sale, I wonder? They seems to have a fairly scattergun approach to their advertising at the moment.
