Ok I'm looking for a headcount for those of you in the midwest, yes were putting together a gathering in Milwaukee on the 17th of November. However I've also been asked to see who else is in area.

So regardless of wheather you're a Gangland or WWII reenactor or if you just like having a good time with a very disfunctional group of folks who like to have an excellent time.. Speak up or forever hold your piece....I mean peace!

It's on Kinnicknick Ave. between the cities of Bay View and Walker's Point. Great area for antiques. If you are in the area, you should also stop at the HiFi Cafe on KK Ave. which is a few miles north of Oklahoma Ave.

I used to go to school right down the road... Years ago and I even know Sage, who opened the HIFI

A new locus! Milwaukee. let's see . . . aside from New York, Boston, LA and San Francisco, there's Phoenix, Memphis, Portland, anywhere else? Milwaukee played Chicago in Costner's "Untouchables", right? Can't think of a better place as a gathering place for Loungers. Good luck!
I think this trend to finding regional gathering places sort of dovetails nicely with the "Our own vintage town" idea. Maybe several cities will evolve into places where vintage can thrive, and we can help make it happen.

I have been there. It's not that big. They have some vintage, some repro, really nice people who own it. I know of some other really good ones for clothes. You could spend hours looking at all the different clothing. Hole in the walls that not alot people know about. Just let me know.....

Those were the days!!

Back in the 90's I was a proud owner of a mist green (Elvis Green) 58 Plymouth Savvoy lol She had a flat head six, push button tranny, four doors and fins from here to North Dakota!!!

We mostly hung around the East Side, KK Ave in Bayview and all along 27th Street and then West Allis, where one of my buddies owned a shop called Past Present Collectables...

Come to think about it... I would kill for a good George Webb burger and coffee!!
