Met with the Major this afternoon!
WOW what can I say... you guys aint seen nothing yet!!!!!
I can not believe what Mike has come up with ... and the workmanship that went into it.
Here are some photos... I will let the Major fill in the deatils. All I can say is you would not believe how smooth the felt is and the finish is something else!!!!
Dont let the name Buckaroo Hatters fool you into thinking this is your dads cowboy hat! This guy is an all a round hatter!!! His fedoras are something else!!!!!!

This a hat he plans on giving to a young man ... most likely the young son of a Lounger!

I am making a fedora this weekend two tone, thinking of a black brim with a silver belly crown.

The small hat in the first photo is a child's hat, size 6 1/4", I am thinking of giving this hat to a son or grandson to a FL member, I called this hat the " Little Man's Hat", thought if a young boy say under 12 can wear it I might just give him the hat.

The red hat was one a lady SASS shooter wanted with a red bound edge, red ribbon and bow with a pencil curl, she had a black hat like this but wanted a Red one, so now she has one.

The Red, Silver Belly and Blue hat was just something I made after the opening night of watching the Olympics, when the USA team walked in, and thought, I should make a hat. Also RBH thought it would be nice to wear when voting or at the national convention's.

The other hats were me just killing some time in the shop, thought why not make a few of these and see how they go at the SASS shoots I attend.

All the hats were staple body western weights , but the Little Man's Hat, it was all rabbit. RBH could not get over how smooth and light they were.

Yes he did. And you would not believe how soft it is for a western weight hat.

The one I had on was one I made for myself a week or so ago, RBH could not get over how smooth the hat is. I made a Black hat and a Bone this past weekend just like the one I had one today, now I have three differant colors all with the same brim width and crown crease. My wife tells me to quit making so many that fit me!!!!!!!!!!,

Bob C, the red, white, blue is a nice hat, my father saw it on Tuesday and wanted it real bad, he is a 7 1/8 and the one I made was a 7.

Thanks fellows of the thumbs up, ya'll just don't know how much I like making these hats, and it keeps my stress levels down.

I met the Major on his way home from the Little Rock Airport.

Forrest City is only about 15 miles north of me, on the Interstate.
