Tech, that 2nd one is especially good. It truly looks vintage with that neon in the background; I love movie theater marquees.

Heres a picture from me 3 years ago when I was still in highschool in my senior year. I Feel Old! That is my very good friend Police Officer Filley of the San Diego Police.

LOL!

I felt old when the fashions popular when I was in high school (in the '80s) came back in again as "retro". 20 years just evaporated!

It's funny, '80s stuff doesn't look / feel 'retro' or vintage to me at all, just awful and tacky. Someone else here made the observation about stuff from the '60s, since they experienced it. I lived through the late '70s, '80s and '90s the first time, I don't need to do that again.

I look at '80s and early '90s fashion and wonder what the hell people were thinking...leg warmers? Dry, poofy hair on men? Bangs on women that were 6" tall? Jewel and neon colors? YIPE. Terrible.

But, we're off topic. Here's a shot of me from 3 years ago...done with a webcam and a desk lamp! HAH!

Would it help if I told you I was in high school from '91 to '98, and I'm nearly 30?

How long is High School in England? Well hopefully you finished. I never did finish High School. Oh well, at least I have nice clothes [huh] .

11-18. I finished and never really left - I'm doing a PhD now!

Even if you didn't finish, I'm sure you still sew a hem a million times better than I ever could, even in my dreams! Come to mention it, I doubt high school would have taught you much of use for your current career anyway!

...well put. It's a shame that there isn't some exception in child labor laws that allows apprenticeships. Some trades you just CANT learn in a classroom environment, and some people don't function well in classroom environments, either. Many old world crafts and trades have fallen away because they are more arts than sciences, and curriculum for them doesn't exist.
