I have put up a plug for it on the Radio Dismuke website at: http://www.radiodismuke.com/raabe.html I also sent out an announcement to my mailing list.

I will definitely be attending the Richardson, Texas (suburban Dallas) performance along with some other 1920s & 1930s music fans in the area. If there are others in the Dallas/Fort Worth North Texas area who plan to attend I am thinking of perhaps having some sort of informal get together prior to the performance so that Radio Dismuke listeners and other vintage music fans might have a chance to meet. It is all tentative at this time - it depends on the level of interest and my ability to scout out a suitable location at or near the theater in time. If you are interested, drop me a line (dismuke@dismuke.org). If there is some sort of get together, I will then get back in touch with details via email with everyone who contacted me.

I was fortunate enough to see the band perform in San Antonio in 2004. If you are able to make it to one of the performances on the tour, I highly recommend it.

Lucky you, I saw him, and the orchester, last year at the Twinwood Festival. First time that I had seen him. What a terrific performer.
Here's a clip of the him with the Palast Orchester, in the marquee at Twinwood. I would love to have shown you their headline performance in the open air arena the following night. The audience went wild, demanding encore after encore. I know it was filmed, but I can't seem to find it.
