I haven't seen it much in a while but recall friends saying that in Texas it was a bit more common to have a couple out in matching western wear.

Tropical & resort wear as well. It's not uncommon in the islands to see matching Hawaiian shirts & dresses. . .but yeah, that's in the islands.

Hmmmm. The BF and I try to make sure we tone but don't match our vintage! Scarily, we have a couple of suits that are *very* alike, but I hasten to add they are skirt suits, in my case.

I like to check that he's not wearing navy blue whilst I'm planning to wear brown, for example. I mean, my dear, we'd simply look a FRIGHT whilst dancing together! lol

This reminds me of the matching tie and pocket square debate we had a while back. I think the consensus opinion there as to what 'works' - coordinate, rather than match - is equally applicable here!

I'm far less bothered by the matching (I agree that it's kind of cute, though not something I'd generally like to do) than I am by the obvious, but unmentioned Disney obsession that's going on there. I've never understood the rabid, saccharine loyalty some people have to what is essentially just a huge media corporation.

There is a wee bit of that in my workplace; I consider it an odd but mostly benign form of psychosis.

I must confess, I'm slighty creeped out by the grown women I've worked with who have Winnie the Pooh and Eyore plastered all over their clothing and possessions.

Ok, so this quote totally weirds me out.

"It also means that other than sometimes her pants, Honey never buys women's clothes. Once, while on fancy dress night on a Carnival cruise, they both wore tuxedos."

Yikes. I like my women to look like a woman. I like my woman to be strong like a woman, not strong like a man. :D
