Dressing alike everyday habit for this couple

Because the size is the only difference in the clothes, Honey has a way to ensure Ray doesn't accidentally pick the wrong one while getting dressed.

"I put in an 'H' in my clothes so he can't wear them," she said.

"But sometimes I get to choose the color we wear," he replied.

"No, he doesn't."

Still, there are some limits to their identical images. Honey wears necklaces and bracelets, separate from Ray. Her unmentionables come from Victoria's Secret and his definitely do not.

And, well, then there's the hair.

"You know, I offered to shave it off, but he said, 'No, that's OK,' " Honey confessed about her bald husband.

It also means that other than sometimes her pants, Honey never buys women's clothes. Once, while on fancy dress night on a Carnival cruise, they both wore tuxedos.

How far is too far?

Too weird.

Some kook my wife works with (in this instance a woman) approached us the other day and commented, "You know, you and your wife don't match your clothes," to which I responded, "Funny, that might have something to do with the fact that we're not ballroom dancers." I've got no idea what was (or more appropriately, wasn't) in her head. Maybe she thought we were dressed nicely so we ought to match patterns, colours etc, I don't know.

Weird, weird, weird.

I try to sort of match our stuff together sometimes. More about not wanting to ruin my look though. Like his shirt matching my outfit in color but not exactly. What is the harm if it makes them happy.
I could not get the link open though to see how bad they look. lol

If I ever see you and Mr.Vanessa in matching pink, we will have an intervention ;)

Maybe matching Pendletons, but that's all. ;)

I think it's sweet.

I think it's sweet as well, but perhaps taken a bit too far. It seems like they are out for the notoriety of being 'that couple'. Did you see the picture of all of their matching crocs?

That's the vibe I got from it, too - seems they enjoy being "that matching couple" and so they go out of their way to feed it. I find it rather ridiculous myself, but if that's what makes them happy, fair enough. Personally, though, I loathe Crocs!

That is kinda scary. But worst is not the matching clothes but CROCS:eusa_doh: I'm sure this is what the devil wears on his goat feet!

:eek:fftopic: They replaced a shop for rockabilly clothing in my home town with a shop which sells exclusively CROCS!! AARGH:rage:

I cannot see how they find so many matching things in both their sizes and sexes.
I still cannot believe anyone has ever put the uggglllyyy crocs on their feet. I think jellies were a step up if that is saying anything. You would have to shoot me first. They also cause accidents alot I have read. Ugly and unsafe.

For some reason I kind of find it sweet with them, but I would never do that with my partner! I get embarrassed when my sweetie and I are both wearing plaid shirts/westerns/flannels at the same time! We look nutty!

It says she wears MEN'S CLOTHES every day. No skirts or dresses?!! I never.

Here here. Those wretched "crocs" in particular are an abomination. That said, if their choice in clothes makes them happy, so be it. The more of those that go in for such miserable attire, the better I feel about the way I look - for some reason I have never been able to stand pictures of myself, so when I see ball caps on backwards, baggy shorts, sandals with socks pulled up the chin, etc, especially all together for that "dumb a**" look, I start to feel quite dapper.
Crocs, another signal of the end times.

Cowboy Hats and Boots too.

I haven't seen it much in a while but recall friends saying that in Texas it was a bit more common to have a couple out in matching western wear.

Your mom dresses you funny.

Subtle matching, say for a cocktail party, is fine. Having a fella match his tie or pocket square to your dress color, for example, is a nice touch. Matching your entire outfits? WAY over the line.
