M65 aluminum zipper replacement?

Hi folks,

I have a vintage 1960s M65 jacket, really great condition but the zipper is bust!

Does anyone have any pointers as to where I could get a replacement aluminium zipper?
Either surplus or a repro is fine but I want silver rather than brass, to match the collar.

Any suggestions gratefully accepted!

Depending on when in the sixties your jacket was made, you're looking for a Conmar aluminum separating paper-clip zipper. At one time Mash carried the aluminum Conmar, but I just checked and they've sold out. They still stock the brass Scovill that was on early 1970s M-65s.

Could you contact alpha industries, didn't they use to make the contract on the M65?

Does anyone know where to get replacement aluminum neck / collar zippers for the M65? Mine is also dated 1967

My mid 60s field jacket has aluminum Scovill zippers for both the hood zipper and the main zip. If you want an exact replacement the Scovill aluminum zip might be difficult to find, though. Are you looking for the Scovill or the Conmar?

I'm looking mainly for the brass wire pull for my 1964 Ralph Edwards G-1. It has a YKK replacement zipper. Figure a brass wire pull would be close enough for the most part.

If anyone has a spare, let me know. I can pay for one.
